4 Greatest Wrestlers of Our Time

Whenever we think about some of the greatest wrestlers of our time, we imagine big, strong athletes that are unique and full of character that we all know and love. It is obvious that in order to become remembered by a generation of wrestling fans an athlete needs to have something more than just pure wrestling talent. If you want to become someone that people talk about for decades you need to have the entire package.

And luckily for us, the fans, throughout wrestling history there were those who were committed enough to this discipline and this industry to become the greatest icons of wrestling that we all aspire to. So, let’s see who they are.

Steve Austin

Without any doubt, Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the greatest wrestlers that has ever stepped his foot in the ring.

With numerous World titles on his belt, Steve Austin is everything a true wrestler should be. Even though all wrestling athletes try to look as tough as they can, it seems that for Steve Austin this comes as naturally as waking up in the morning. What is more, “Stone Cold” is the only wrestler that succeeded in becoming a real rival to Hulk Hogan in terms of popularity.

The Undertaker

Mark Calaway or The Undertaker has been one of the best wrestling talents for two consecutive decades. And why wouldn’t he be? With his amazing “Dead Man” mask, overall terrifying appearance, and quick moves in the ring, he was truly an opponent that everyone feared. This also meant that every match in which he participated sparked extraordinary interest with the audience who wanted to see if there was anyone strong enough to defeat The Undertaker.

Hulk Hogan

If we talk about popularity on a global scale, there hasn’t been a single child in the 80s and the 90s that didn’t know who Hulk Hogan was. The reason why is because in this era children had been obsessed with action toys, and Hulk Hogan was among the first ones to have a toy version of himself. Although there have been stronger and more resilient wrestlers at that period, Hulk Hogan managed to cast an enormous shadow on all of them simply because of his unique and memorable persona that conquered the world.
