Mainly I do not place advertising on OhioWrestler.com because it is distracting, unwanted and unneeded. I created OhioWrestler.com as a tool for the wrestling community to find as much information as possible in one place. But the Youth Tournament Page, Camp Page and Link Page all lead themselves to wrestling advertising. The Youth Tournament Page will only hold banners directed at Wrestling Tournaments as the Camp Page will only have Wrestling Camp related banners. The Link Page is permitted to hold any wrestling related banner.
The charge for the placement of the banner is as follows;
Tournament or Camp banners - $50.00
per Banner for the life of the page (Oct. 1-Sept. 30). Size requirement for
Youth Tournament Page is 80 X 470 (H X L).
Link Page banners for commercial
wrestling enterprises run $60 per Banner, there is no expiration date.
All banner prices are based on
banners smaller then
80 X 470 pixels (H
X L), larger banner will increase the price if accepted at all.
A new situation in which I am permitting banners for the
2008-9 season is on the individual Tournament result pages.
Most
tournaments get sponsors to help raise some money on their tournaments but it is
so hard to convince a sponsor to kick in a couple
hundred dollars for
a
one day advertising
opportunity. I have always kept my site advertisement free to keep the clutter
down. That is still
going to stay the
same except for tournament pages. And these advertisers are ones that sponsors
the tournaments only. So now you can
tell an advertiser
that their ad will be seen for the life of the page which could be 10 years or
more. I am only charging $20 for the
banner/page and I
will even construct them for free if they cannot provide one themselves. Spirit
banners will run $10 per posting/page. The
banners that I
create are 100 X 384 pixels (H X L), I would also like the others to stay in
that same size area. Think about it, a Tournament
Sponsor could
donate around $500, Weight Class Sponsors around $200 / $100, Spirit Sponsors
$100 / $50 to help your wrestling program.
Banners must be “PG”, for a service or product, not medicinal, tobacco, alcohol
or weapon related, they do not have to be wrestling related.
They must be under
400 pixels in length and 100 in height. If the sponsor does not have a workable
banner, I can create one for $40(half
price on minimal
work rotating banner) that they may use elsewhere if they like or free(static
banner only) for use on OhioWrestler.com
only. These
prices are for this advertising situation only so that I may help the wrestling
program increase their budget.
Banners can be created here at OhioWrestler.com for a
charge of $20-$60, price dependent on complexity and content.
Any banners that are
created here may be used on other websites, but must have a link under the
banner stating that the banner was created by OhioWrestler.com, as is shown
here;
